In our main Phonics lessons, we will be learning to read and write words where ‘y’ makes an ‘ee’ sound (such as sunny, hairy and rainy). We will also be reading the words ’any’ and ‘eye’ and writing the words ‘where’ and ‘water’.

In English, we will be starting to write a fact file about reptiles, including their features, what they eat and where they live.

In Maths, we will be learning about number bonds for 10 and 20, doubles and near doubles. We will also be looking at odd and even numbers in our fluency work.

In Computing, we will be continuing to working with the Bee-Bots and will be planning routes for them to follow.

In RE, we will be discussing whether there are things anyone, not just Christians, can learn from what Jesus taught his followers.

In Art, we will be looking at some artwork by Alma Thomas and will be using this as inspiration for our own artwork.
