Term 6 Week 4

Here is an overview of our learning activities for the week commencing 23rd June 2025.

In our main phonics lessons we will be learning about words containing the ‘un’ suffix, such as unfair, unjust and uncaring. We will also be reading the words ‘talk’ and ‘two’ and writing the words ‘beautiful’ and ‘treasure’.

In our main Maths lessons we will be comparing numbers up to 100 and learning about money. This week we will be learning to recognise coins and notes.

In RE, we will be learning about how Australian Aboriginals believe the world was created and listening to some ‘Dreamtime’ stories. In Art, we will be making dot art pictures based on Aboriginal art.

On Tuesday morning we will be visiting The Amelia and taking part in a toy workshop. 

In Computing, we will be designing our own programs for Scratch Jnr.

We have PE on Monday morning and Thursday morning. We will be continuing to practise for sports day, which is next Tuesday (1st July).
